Cameo and Partners are taking an active role alongside the GLA in reviewing the entire north west masterplan for the promotion of better pedestrian connectivity, improved green links and safer streets within this quadrant of Tower Hamlets Westferry area. This will include the upgrade of Pennyfields, the local park and Westferry DLR station.
It is our intention to invest and improve the area surrounding the Westferry DLR station, which will bring life back into the area while creating sustainable jobs, new homes and a hotel for the borough. Westferry has now been submitted. It includes a 320 bed hotel and 199 apartments, 32% of which will provide affordable homes, plus a legacy of three acres of landscaped public space with play areas for children including a skate park.
