One New Change

Cameo is a member of the lead design team for a proposed ‘hyperscale’ data centre located on previously developed land within green belt, west of London. The design goes to extra-ordinary lengths to integrate with the surrounding landscape by improving the site’s contribution to the landscape, the environment and ecology, as well as the amenity that it offers to the community. The landscape masterplan proposes to repair broken connections, by providing new landscape links between areas of ancient woodland, creating wildlife corridors as well as creating new links between footpaths. The design has an unprecedented biodiversity net gain value of +135%.

18 acres of newly created green biodiverse space of which 11.3 acres will be accessible to the public with lakes, streams and walkways connected by public footpaths alongside 6.7 acres maintained exclusively for wildlife.

A long-term Landscape Ecological Management Plan for maintenance and continued public access to the open space, bridleway, landscaped park, and surrounding network of footpaths for a minimum of 25 years.

An extensive network of upgraded and new public footpaths connecting to the existing bridleway on the Denham Road and extending the route network in the surrounding area.
