The design philosophy for the proposed new residential scheme in Sandford aims to create a new and unique high quality residential community in a parkland setting.
Create a new residential development, integrated with the existing landscape setting of parkland through a series of connected landscape character areas. The existing historical buildings will be respectively set within a new formal landscape setting, transitioning into more of a natural setting, surrounding the newly proposed residential blocks. The Arboricultural report has allowed the team to identify trees of high value, low value and medium value. These higher quality trees have been the design philosophy layout for the architecture and landscape architecture.
