The overarching principle is to utilise the unique opportunities that the
site and its context offers, to create a landscape and public realm scheme
which unifies the space and creates a destination for visitors and local
residents.

The emphasis is on a high-quality landscape and public realm, using hard
and soft landscape features. This will create a legible urban landscape,
which is flexible in use and engaging for the people within it.

LANDMARK BUILDING
Dublin’s largest new public space (which connects the 3Arena, Point Village
and the EXO Building) on the prestigious North Quay’s site in Dublin’s
Docklands, is due to complete in late summer 2020. The re-modelling of the
public realm will provide a seamless plaza environment, which connects
the adjacent building via an extensive carpet laid out for events and major
gatherings.
