The new living wall at 1SJRQ forms a luscious landmark along the south side of the Liffey River and a stunning back-drop to the entrance of the high-tech office building. The living wall creates a dramatic enhancement to a blank facade, and compliments the shimmering glassy architecture with a verdant cascade that flows into the courtyard, weaving between the steps, benches and ramps at the buildings entrance. The retained historic facade creates an impressive threshold between the courtyard and Sir John Rodgerson’s Quay with sliding tramway-doors that roll closed at night, securing the space.
