The emerging landscape positively responds to the Site’s
topography and aspect through the creation of a series of public and communal spaces, and the strengthening of wider vistas to the Dublin Bay to the north and Vesci Gardens to the south.
The scheme strengthens green infrastructure through the
introduction of new planting within both the public and communal areas.
The communal areas are designed to create opportunities for socialising and play. The open spaces will encourage people to socialise and interact.
Play spaces and family gathering areas ensure new residents of all ages can enjoy the spaces. Ongoing maintenance and
management will ensure the gardens are safe and welcoming at all times.
Native planting and careful habitat creation aim to establish an ecologically rich environment which will benefit the local people and the environment.
